DAISY RIDLEY AND TOM HOLAND feature in the new teaser for Chaos Walking, a planned sci-fi thriller slated to be published next year.

The film is based on Patrick Ness’ 2008 novel The Knife of Never Letting Go, the first in his Chaos Walking trilogy. The tale is set in the near future and revolves around Ridley’s character Viola, who crash lands on another planet where all the women have vanished and all the men are plagued by a force known as “the Noise” that puts all their thoughts on display.

Viola links up with Todd Hewitt (Holland) upon her arrival, who swears to defend her but must also learn how to channel “his own inner power and unlock the planet’s dark secrets,” according to the synopsis.

Along with Ridley and Holland, the cast of Chaos Walking features Nick Jonas, Mads Mikkelsen, Cynthia Erivo, David Oyelowo, Kurt Sutter, and Demián Bichir. Doug Liman directed the picture.
