Tom Holland, the hero of Spider-Man, drives off into a celebrity golf tournament

Tom Holland, the actor who plays Spider-Man, is testing his golf swing in a pro-am tournament with a lot of A-list competitors.

The 27-year-old is one of many well-known people who are teeing off at Wentworth Golf Club in Virginia Water, Surrey, on Wednesday in preparation for the 2023 BMW PGA Championship, including presenter Dan Walker and former Welsh player Gareth Bale.

Sam and Harry Holland, as well as Jon Ra, the Spanish major winner, are in Holland’s group.

In a video footage posted by the event’s organizers, Holland can be seen watching in admiration as Rahm performs a strong drive.

Harry Potter actor Tom Felton, broadcaster Vernon Kay, ex-football player Jimmy Bullard, and England cricketer Jimmy Anderson will also compete in this year’s game.

The 12 players of the European Ryder Cup squad as well as captain Luke Donald are among the pros competing.

The lineup also includes Rahm, Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Tommy Fleetwood, Robert MacIntyre, Tyrrell Hatton, Shane Lowry, Justin Rose, Sepp Straka, Matt Fitzpatrick, Viktor Hovlad, Nicolai Hojgaard, and Ludvig Aberg. Donald is at the head of the pack.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the British actor is most known for playing Spider-Man with his girlfriend, American actress Zendaya, who plays his classmate and potential love interest MJ.

He attracted people’ attention last week when he used sweating emojis in his remark after Zendaya posted an Instagram photo of herself wearing a red dress with a plunging V neckline.
