On Friday night, the singer paid a visit to the Electric Lady Studios wearing a stylish black blouse and a preppy pleated skirt.
Taylor Swift is glamming up her stylish schoolgirl ensemble for the recording studio.
The pop icon, 33, appeared at an album release party at Electric Lady Studios in New York City on Friday night wearing a black one-shoulder shirt and a gray pleated short skirt.
The “Anti-Hero” singer complemented the chic attire with knee-high black leather heeled boots and minimal gold jewelry to match with her distinctive red lip and winged eyeliner. Additionally, she added loose ocean wave curls to her long, golden hair.
Newlyweds Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley, Hayley Williams, Cara Delevingne, Sabrina Carpenter, Sadie Sink, Gracie Abrams, and Rosé of BLACKPINK were among the rumored attendees from Swift’s close circle.
Swift’s party outfit is yet another addition to her preppy wardrobe from this summer. She wore a navy blue polo shirt with red and white accents and dark denim shorts on Wednesday as she was out and about in New York City. She wore a traditional pair of black sunglasses and had a cherry-red handbag slung over her shoulder.
Striped button-down shirts, crewneck sweaters, and loafers have all been staples of the Grammy winner’s preppy summer outfit. Even in July, when she visited the renowned recording studio in New York City, she revived the skort. She wore a white eyelet cotton shirt by Doên with a Free People denim wrap skort, adding a splash of color with caramel-colored G.H. Bass Mary Jane shoes.
Swift’s most recent display of her summer street style comes following record-breaking demand for early tickets to a big-screen adaptation of her sold-out Eras Tour, which will be screened only in AMC theaters beginning on October 13.
In a press statement on September 1, AMC stated that ticket sales for the concert movie brought in $26 million in only one day. This surpasses the previous record holder Spider-Man: No Way Home, which made $16.9 million in a single day, as the biggest single-day ticket sales income for a movie at AMC.
AMC said that it is expanding the number of showtimes for the movie, which is scheduled to run through at least November 5.
Other prospective movies, such Meg Ryan’s comeback to the rom-com genre in What Happens Later and The Exorcist: Believer, have delayed their anticipated release dates due to the huge popularity of The Eras Tour: Concert Film.
Swift will return to the road in November for the second leg of the Eras Tour with performances in Argentina and Brazil, in addition to the release of her re-recorded 2014 studio album 1989 (Taylor’s Version) on October 27. Before performing concerts throughout Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America from February through November 2024, she will take a few more months off.
