Taylor Swift’s Signature Noughties Hairstyle Gets a ‘Fearless’ Makeover

Taylor Swift is enjoying the time of her life right now. The new album, sweeping the American Music Awards, and a new (but retro) hairstyle? We’re very impressed.

Swift made history by becoming the first female artist to win the most AMAs, breaking her previous record from the awards presentation. If you’re a Swiftie, you’ll know that her victory was bolstered in part by the re-recording of her older albums, notably the re-recorded hit Red: Taylors Version. If you recall her classic appearance from that time period, you may have noticed that she is sporting her distinctive petal wave curls from the 2008-2010 era. The sweeping bangs and golden cashmere curls instantly transported us back to when we used to sing acoustically to Swift’s music.

Her nostalgic hair moments from a decade ago have resurfaced due to the fact that trends always return and everything old can become new again. It’s hard to think she wore this look 12 years ago. We expect to see more of this style as her public appearances continue. More of her classic look may be seen above.
