Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have graciously agreed to provide us with evidence of their developing romance: The couple was spotted wandering through NYC with their hands clasped a few times during the weekend.
Evidently, because Swift’s apparent transformation into an NFL WAG (that is, “wives and girlfriends”) and the discovery of a picture last month showing the singer wrapped around the football player’s neck weren’t enough to convince cynical onlookers and the couple’s newly formed ardent fans.
Following multiple instances of being caught on camera this weekend engaging in couple-like behavior, including going out to dinner in New York together after making unexpected appearances on 30 Rock for “Saturday Night Live,” and holding hands (among other things!) when attending the show’s after-party, it seems that the Grammy winner and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end are officially a thing.
According to a show insider who spoke with Variety, “Nobody knew they were coming, and they contacted a few minutes before arrival at air time,” Kelce’s appearance occurred just before “Saturday Night Live” was scheduled to begin Season 49 inside Studio 8H at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
Two special visitors wanted to stop by the program and were on their way, word reached the show’s production staff, led by executive producer Lorne Michaels. Following Pete Davidson’s somber opening monologue regarding the worsening conflict between Israel and Hamas, Kelce made an appearance in the first sketch of the evening, which was a “NFL Sunday” segment discussing the sports world’s spiral into Taylormania and pop culture’s newfound fascination with the NFL player.
Later in the show, the weekend’s biggest draw also made an appearance in front of the camera to welcome Ice Spice, a musical guest and new friend. The video was shared on “SNL’s” Instagram account, and Kelce, who plays football for the New York Giants, gave it a “like” on the social media platform.
According to Variety, the TV hits were put together spontaneously, even after the program had gone through dress rehearsals for the episode. This may account for the lack of dialogue in each cameo.
The insider told the trade publication, “The second [Kelce] walked in, they mentioned the sketch and he said he was happy to join.” “When asked, they were happy to jump into certain parts of the show.”

At the after-party for the premiere at Catch Steak in the Meatpacking District, Page Six revealed that Kelce and the “Shake It Off” hitmaker were getting “handsy” throughout the show and were even spotted kissing. this following pictures of the two taken while walking hand in hand to the function. Additionally, TMZ was able to secure video of the couple cuddling and holding hands at the haunt.
According to a source who spoke to Page Six, “Travis and Taylor seemed to really be enjoying the night, and each other, even kissing throughout the night.” “Everyone was having a terrific time and was in a great mood. Taylor was observed chit-chatting with Ice Spice, the evening’s musical guest, and her companions.

The excitement around the two on Monday led Heinz and Hidden Valley to take advantage of the Swift-Kelce craze by releasing a limited-edition sauce with meme-inspired packaging.
Referring to a viral moment from Swift’s appearance at a Chiefs game on September 24, a spokesperson told the “Today” show, “In honor of #Traylor, Heinz (Arrowhead Stadium’s supplier of both Ketchup AND Ranch) is creating and releasing 100 (13+87 because Taylor + Travis = 100?) bottles of Limited-Edition ‘Ketchup and Seemingly Ranch’ sauce.”
