Foul-mouthed celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is parting with a waterfront home in South West England that he uses as a successful high-end vacation rental.
The three-story property in a former bank in the small town of Fowey, on the Cornish coast, hit the market Friday for £2.75 million (US$3.6 million).

The distinctive Grade II-listed building fronts a charming narrow street and backs on to the harbor, with private access to the shoreline, according to the listing with estate agency John Bray and Partners.
Without referring to the “Hell’s Kitchen” star by name, the listing notes that the sellers have “created a beautiful, contemporary style townhouse,” with “many period features retained.”
A representative for the brokerage declined to comment on the home.
Property records show Mr. Ramsay, 53, and his wife Tana, paid £1.96 million for the property in 2017, and it appears they don’t use the property as a main residence. The listing notes that the four-bedroom home is a “very successful luxury holiday letting property.”
Spanning roughly 2,800 square feet, the bright and modern home has an open-plan living, kitchen and dining room, a snug, a study and a waterside garden room with kitchen and bar facilities opening onto the waterside terrace.
There’s also a primary bedroom with water views, and a ground-floor commercial space, according to the listing.

It may not take long for Mr. Ramsay to unload the property. Coastal and rural homes have been in high demand in the U.K., as buyers rush to bag properties away from cities with more space and access to the outdoors.
Mr. Ramsay, who has restaurants worldwide, is best known for hosting shows including “Kitchen Nightmares” and “MasterChef.” He could not immediately be reached for comment.
The Sun first reported the listing.
