“I feel incredibly grateful. I think it’s one of those things where I’ve always just chased the things that make me happy, bring me joy, and make me creatively feel like I’m pushing myself and becoming better,” the Emmy Award winner said. “And I’m grateful that has resonated with people in different ways and that I’ve been able to be a part of kind of their journey and their life. I think that’s the coolest thing about storytelling or about my job is that at a certain point it’s not mine anymore. It takes on a life for someone else and it becomes part of their childhood or becomes part of their happy memories or it becomes part of their healing. And that, to me, I think is the coolest thing and especially if I can help a young person feel seen, that means the world to me.”

Being as busy as she is, keeping her health and wellness in check is a priority. As the new global brand ambassador of smartwater, taking the reins from former faces like Jennifer Aniston, Zendaya admitted that she has been inspired to drink more water and seek out “the little things” that “make you feel good.”“I think sometimes like when I was doing Euphoria, it was as simple as like making—this sounds so corny—but making my matcha in the morning. I found it really peaceful…it just made me very calm. And I was like, ‘I’m really enjoying making my drink today.’ It’s like a little moment to myself,” she said. “Or whether it’s your skin-care routine at night, it’s a little moment where you’re just like, it’s just me. I’m going to rub my face, do my thing. This is my time whatever it is. Everybody kind of has their own little things, but just finding little things where you just have some time to yourself…things that are just like, this is something for me.”
