And Taylor Swift has revealed one of the reasons she has amassed such an outstanding collection of friends, stating that she finds it lot easier than being competitive.
Speaking about the fact she always seems to be having fun with her friends during awards shows, the singer said: ‘I really do feel like I’m seeing a lot of my friends and the more friends that I make who are awesome and cool and are at these events, the less it feels like some strange competitive atmosphere.’

She added: ‘That doesn’t feel as nice as going to an award show and being like “Hey, it’s everyone that I really love!” That’s been the fun part of the last couple of years is making a lot of friends.’
The singer spoke on ITV’s Lorraine on Thursday morning where she also took time to praise her British friend Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith.
The 25-year-old gushed to Dan Wotton: ‘I think that it’s been amazing to watch artists like Ed and Sam put out their first single and have things hit so quickly and they are people that I’m a huge fan of.
‘I love what they do, I think that they are absolutely authentic and to top it off they’re amazing people, they’re fun to hang out with.’

Taylor’s business clout was recently shown when Apple modified its payment policy in response to Taylor’s open letter to the corporation.
On Sunday morning, the superstar issued an open letter slamming the internet giant for its’shocking’ decision not to pay artists during a three-month free trial offered to customers.
After hours of wrangling, the company agreed to compensate every musician whose work is showcased during the trial, which begins on June 30.
‘We hear you @taylorswift13 and indie artists,’ tweeted Apple vice president Eddy Cue after personally calling the platinum-selling singer to convey the news.
‘Apple will always make sure that artists are rewarded,’ he continued.

‘#AppleMusic will pay artist for streaming, even during customer’s free trial period.’
Swift responded by tweeting to her 59.2 million followers, ‘I am delighted and relieved. Thank you for your words of encouragement today. They paid attention to what we had to say.’
Apple Music will be available globally at the end of June, with monthly memberships costing $9.99 – or $14.99 for a household of up to six people.
The service will be available for free for three months so that users may test it out before committing.
Taylor is now in London, preparing for her headlining performance on June 27 at the Barclaycard present British Summer Time Hyde Park 2015.
The show is her lone stop in London on her 1989 world tour, during which she will perform classics from her number one album.
