Marcus Rashford Unwinds with Night Out Following Man City Match

Marcus Rashford’s late night outing caused controversy after Manchester United’s Derby loss. Marcus Rashford couldn’t prevent Manchester United from suffering defeat to Manchester City at Old Trafford, and immediately after the match he went to a local nightclub for a late night celebration.

After a challenging match in which Rashford struggled to make an impact, Manchester United suffered a convincing defeat to rivals Manchester City. Surprisingly, Rashford was spotted at the famous Chinawhite nightclub in Manchester just a few hours after the match. The England international stayed up late and his night out is believed to have been a pre-arranged celebration. However, the decision may not please United’s disappointed fans and possibly the club’s manager, Erik ten Hag.

While there is no official requirement for players to keep the club informed of their social activities, United are said to be unaware of Rashford’s plans on Sunday night. The party lasted until dawn but it was unclear whether Rashford would stay until the end.

Erik ten Hag has emphasized standards and discipline since he arrived in Manchester. His reaction to Rashford’s night out is unknown. The manager is dealing with an issue involving another England star, Jadon Sancho, whose future at the club is uncertain.

United are going through a run of poor form, and Rashford, who scored 30 goals in all competitions last season, has struggled in the current campaign, scoring just one goal in 13 appearances. His late-night activities are unlikely to be warmly received by the manager, who is handling individual cases like Jadon Sancho.
