Zendaya surprised her father with her dream house in California

Zendaya surprised her father with her dream house in California.

It’s no sеcrеt that Zendaya has a great relationship with her parents. Despite having multiple homes of her own, the globally acclaimed actress (known for her roles in “Euphoria,” “Dune,” and the “Spider-Man” franchise) was still living with either her mother, Claire Stoermer, or her divorced father, Kazembe Ajamu Coleman, who is originally from Oakland. According to Zendaya, the two of them are still close “homies.”

According to records, the 26-year-old has joined A-list celebrities The Rock, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Beyoncé in purchasing residences for their parents, spending $1.9 mιllιon on a house that would be occupied by her father. The grand residence is hidden away in the West Hills district of the San Fernando Valley, close to Woodland Hills and Calabasas, in the far-flung suburbs of Los Angeles.

The two-story home, which was constructed in the 1990s, last traded hands for $1.1 mιllιon in 2008, after which renovations were made. The main level of the house has new hardwood floors and a double-height lobby with walls painted a light periwinkle color.

The formal dining room features French doors leading directly to the pool area, while the living and family rooms each have their own fireplaces. The completely remodeled kitchen, which has eat-in bar seating and is connected to the family area, is distinguished by white quartz counters and dark brown cabinets.

Five bedrooms, including two on the ground floor and three upstairs, are dispersed across the about 3,400 square foot building. The upstairs master retreat features a devoted sitting space, a luxuriously refurbished bathroom, and a private terrace with views of the mountains and city lights. One of the downstairs rooms is now set up as an office.

Other exterior features include a raised spa next to the home’s pool, grassy front and backyards, and a built-in barbeque center with a bar seating area. In addition to a covered loggia that offers some outdoor relief from the terrible San Fernando Valley heat, there is also a circular fire pit that is perfect for roasting marshmallows on cool nights. The property is nestled away within a posh housing development, where HOA dues of $205/month help pay for a neighborhood security patrol and upkeep of common areas that resemble parks.

In addition to her father’s new swanky digs, Zendaya owns several other properties, including a New York City apartment and her first-ever purchased home, a Mediterranean-style residence located in the Northridge neighborhood of Los Angeles. However, her most valuable asset in her real estate portfolio remаins the $4 million hilltop estate in Encino.
