Britney Spears’ Childhood Home Hits the Market for $1.2 Million, Offering Original Furniture and Dance Studio. ”We’re selling a legacy,” states listing agent Yvonne Hulsey, as she showcases Britney Spears’ childhood home in Louisiana, now on the market for $1.2 million.
This 2,300-square-foot residence allows potential buyers to step back into the early days of Spears’ career, with preserved drawings, wall markings, and the original dance studio that ignited her passion for dance and music.
Situated in rural Kentwood, the property encompasses three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and sits on 1.9 acres of land. Some of the original furniture from the time when the Spears family resided there still remаins, even after Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, sold the property in 2021 for approximately $275,000.
Yvonne Hulsey, the listing agent from Keller Williams Realty Services, emphasizes that they are selling more than just a home; they are offering a piece of Louisiana and pop music history. The unique buyer they seek may be an investor interested in transforming the property into an Airbnb or a museum, or someone who simply desires to own a part of music history.
Inside the ranch-style home, the eat-in kitchen showcases a distinctive island with stone accents and a marble countertop. Wooden cabinetry and light stone tiles adorn the walls, seamlessly connecting to the living area. One of the bedrooms provides direct access to the outdoor space through double doors, offering a view of the lush greenery from an open patio.
Stickers adorn the mirror in another bedroom, while “Brit rules” is written in black marker on a cabinet in another. However, the standout feature of the property is the spacious dance studio, complete with multiple mirrors, making it the true highlight of the entire estate.

Hulsey shares, “You’ll see the dance studio that Britney started in when she was two years old, and then she ended up teaching aerobics there at 12 years old. That’s pretty much where everything began.”
Along with the studio and furniture that holds direct ties to Britney, Hulsey says she also found original drawings from when the pop icon “was a child” while looking through the home.
