At the film’s London premiere tonight, Zendaya and stylist Law Roach really embraced Dune’s sci-fi theme. Zendaya walked the red carpet in a Rick Owens asymmetrical white column gown. Zendaya exuded space princess vibes with her updo, cosmetics, and overall superb pose.

Zendaya told Empire earlier this year that she wasn’t on the set of Dune for long for her role as Chani. She had barely been there four days: “My part is very, very small in this movie and that’s why I’m so excited to see it, to see what everyone’s been up to,” she told me. “[Director Denis Villeneuve and I] had a little conversation about who Chani is and how strong she is. Her folks are fighters, and she is one of them. I just had a few days with her, so I barely touched the surface, but it was a lot of fun figuring her out. What does she walk like, and how does she talk? This is her planet, so how does she go around? It was a lot of fun.”
Speaking with InStyle for its November 2021 issue, she added she was definitely down to be in a possible sequel. “We’ll see how the first one goes, but I’m ready to do a second,” she said. “Whenever they call, I’m here. [Co-star] Timothée [Chalamet] is an extraordinary talent and just a lovely person—he’s become my family.”
