Though he may have a song called “I’m Not a Star,” Rick Ross is the newest inhabitant of Miami’s Star Island.

The Boss, a rapper known for “Hustlin,” reportedly had his sights set on a waterfront estate on the prestigious island last month. This week, the rapper officially closed on the property. Rozay paid an incredible $35 million for the 40,000-square-foot mega-mansion, which is situated close to the center of the guard-gated, star-studded community. Numerous wealthy people, including Diddy, Gloria Estefan, Jennifer Lopez, and billionaire Ken Griffen, keep lavish homes here. Furthermore, it’s quite remarkable that the record executive was able to secure a desired share of the 30 houses available on Star Island.

There is currently a two-car garage on the property, but the founder of Maybach Music Group will require much more space to accommodate all of his expensive vehicles. Additionally, there is a 40-foot dock with an electric and water pedestal in case he chooses to travel by boat. If he hasn’t already, perhaps he will end up with that Lamborghini yacht after all.
