AMAAL LASCELLES blasted Jorginho for being a bad loser after the Arsenal skipper refused to shake hands.

Jamal Lascelles of Newcastle asserts that Jorginho of Arsenal declined to shake hands.

Lascelles slammed Jorginho after the match that saw Newcastle winning 1-0

Toon captain Lascelles strongly criticized Italian midfielder Jorginho for his “unacceptable” behavior at the end of the intense match.

Lascelles expressed his disappointment, saying, “Jorginho showed a lack of sportsmanship by refusing to shake hands after the game. Regardless of what happens on the pitch, whether it’s heated moments or not, it’s important to show respect and shake hands.”

He further added, “I’m glad we emerged victorious because players like Jorginho’s conduct is not acceptable. Many of their players walked off without acknowledging us. I approached Jorginho to shake his hand, but he declined. I was angry and disappointed because it’s simply not right.”

Lascelles emphasized that he would never refuse to shake hands with an opposing team’s captain, stating, “I firmly believe in showing respect and sportsmanship, and I would never disrespect the opposition in such a manner.”

Jorginho was constantly being played badly on the field, but Newcastle did not have to receive any warnings from the referee, so it was difficult to suρρress  his emotions.

Furious Arsenal suffered their first loss of the season following Anthony Gordon’s controversial second-half winner.

Asked if he thought Newcastle had recorded a statement win, defender Lascelles added: “Yeah and especially with how they go on as well.”
