In 2025, a European company is introducing a brand-new cruise ship that will feature the first hybrid rollercoaster and waterslide at sea.
The newest cruise ship from Norwegian Cruise Line is called Norwegian Aqua.

Norwegian Aqua is the company’s newest venture and will be included in their Prima Class. The ship is scheduled to depart from Florida in April 2025 and carry passengers on a seven-day Caribbean journey. Many exotic locations, such as Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic, Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the cruise line’s private island in the Bahamas, are anticipated to be visited by cruise ships.3,751 passengers can be accommodated on Norwegian Aqua in a range of rooms and suites.
Additionally, some Studio Staterooms tailored for lone travelers will be available.
Norwegian Aqua will have the first hybrid rollercoaster and waterslide at sea in addition to the rooms.
With its twists and turns, the Aqua Slidecoaster will span three floors of the ship and feature two slides.
On board the ship, there will also be a brand-new digital sports complex.
During the day, passengers will be able to play a range of games on the interactive LED floor of the Glow Court.
Later in the evening, it will be transformed into a nightclub.
The Drop, a 10-story free-fall slide, and the Stadium, a gaming area with free events, are two more features on the ship.
Family-friendly events will also be available on board, such as the Splash Academy, which is reserved for visitors between the ages of three and twelve, and Entourage, the ship’s teen hangout.
There will also be an adults-only beach club, a main pool deck with sunloungers, and an infinity edge pool.
Other outdoor areas will feature a glass bridge known as Oceanwalk and an outdoor promenade that encircles the entire ship.
There are multiple pools at Infinity Beach with views of the ship’s sides.
Additionally, there will be an outdoor lounge called La Terrazza where guests can take in even more scenery.

Today is when passengers can make reservations for the ship’s inaugural trips.
Not only is Norwegian Aqua launching soon; but Explora I, the first luxury cruise ship from Explora Journeys, is also scheduled to launch soon.
Inside its 461 suites, the Explora I can accommodate 922 passengers. It will also house the world’s first at-sea Rolex store and a Cartier store.
In the meantime, travelers on the MV Gemini can visit 135 nations for less money than they would have to pay to rent an apartment in London.
The Life At Sea Cruises ship offers “an experience like no other” and features a fitness center, a salon, a swimming pool, a sundeck, and a hospital that is open around the clock. Foodies will also find plenty of dining options on board.
