The Edmonton Oilers’ center and captain is Connor McDavid. In the NHL entry draft of 2015, he was chosen first overall. He was the youngest captain in NHL history after just two seasons.

By scoring the most goals in the 2016–17 campaign, McDavid also made history by becoming the youngest player to win the Art Ross Trophy. He has since won the award twice more. In 2016, he allegedly ran into his girlfriend Lauren Kyle at the wrong place to celebrate their friend’s birthday.

Lauren Kyle attended Ryerson’s School of Interior Design after being born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. In addition to running her own company, Kyle and Co. Design Studio, she is working on getting her cookbook, The Atelier Table, published.

Kyle is a huge sports fan as well. She was Connor’s volleyball teammate in college and has been a constant source of encouragement at all of his home games in Edmonton. In a feature article on Architectural Digest, McDavid and Kyle showcased their opulent Edmonton residence.

The house has an indoor basketball court where McDavid practices hockey and stays in touch with the game. Many of his teammates have worked out in his home gym.

Leonard, the dog owned by the couple, is the king of the house, according to Lauren. They both have a neon sign that says, “If you don’t like dogs, get out,” and they both adore dogs.

Recently, Connor McDavid and Lauren Kyle took a vacation.
