Taylor Swift’s new album Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) has only been out for a week, but it’s already smashing 2023 sales records.
With the re-recorded version of her third studio album, which was initially released in 2010, the 33-year-old singer has a massive smash on her hands.
According to Billboard, Speak Now (TV) has already had the biggest week for any album this year, as well as the biggest week since Taylor’s 2022 album Midnights was released.
So far, 575,000 equivalent album units have been sold in the first four days of release.
There are 400,000 album sales and 225,000 vinyl sales out of that total. That translates to 175,000 copies sold via CDs, digital downloads, and cassette tapes.
Streaming accounts for 175,000 copies, with the 22 tracks totaling more than 200 million streams.
According to Billboard, “I Can See You,” one of the vault songs, is the most streamed song on the album so far, with 13 million plays in the first four days of tracking.
