On board Magic Johnson’s luxurious yacht, it’s family time!
As the Johnsons continue their incredible tour of Mediterranean ports, the NBA legend and his wife Cookie welcomed their kids and grandkids on board their chartered boat, the Phoenix II, on Instagram on Sunday.
“Cookie and I are thrilled that our daughter-in-law Lisa, our grandchildren Gigi and Avery, and our children Andre, EJ, and Elisa will be joining us on the yacht!” Magic, 63, posted a message next to a picture of the contented bunch, standing on the deck against the striking backdrop of the seaside cliffs.
Another picture features Magic and Cookie grinning at the camera; the basketball legend is dressed in slacks and loafers, while his spouse is decked up in a sleeveless Prada gown.
Magic revealed in a different post on Sunday that their yacht’s crew had thrown them a party with a 70s theme.
“The Phoenix II crew did a fantastic job throwing us a 70s party the other night!” Alongside a group photo of friends, including Samuel L. Jackson, who was wearing pleated flared pants, Magic wrote. “Everyone dressed up, and it was so much fun!”
The Hall of Famer has been posting pictures from his yearly trip to Europe for the past few weeks; as in the past, this trip has included several well-known faces.
According to its website, the 296-foot boat has seven cabins, including a split-level master apartment with its staircase and a private terrace with a Jacuzzi. Last week, Jackson, Michael Jordan, Judge Greg Mathis, and their spouses joined in on the fun.
During numerous off-boat excursions, the group dined at some of the best restaurants in the area.
“We had a fantastic dinner tonight at the renowned Da Paolino Ristorante, also known as the Lemon Tree restaurant in Capri, Italy!”
Johnson penned the letter. “AND I got to hang out with my great friend and the greatest basketball player to ever live, Michael Jordan, and his wife Yvette, Sam and LaTanya Jackson, Judge Greg and Linda Mathis, and John and Vicki Palmer.”
