The fiancée of the Edmonton Oilers captain posted several candid pictures from their engagement last week to Instagram on Thursday, along with a heartfelt message referring to it as the “best day” of her life.

In the pictures, the couple, who were surrounded by their closest friends and relatives, smiled widely. Kyle looked stunning in a pink velvet dress with lace detailing, while McDavid showed off his sense of style in a blue suit, white T-shirt, and sneakers.

“One week ago today I celebrated the best day of my life with the people I love the most,” wrote Kyle.
