Breaking: Real Madrid Superstar Modric Set to Reunite with Ronaldo at Al-Nassr

Ahead of a possible transfer to the Saudi Pro League, or SPL, Real Madrid star Luka Modric will speak with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Saudi Arabian team, Al-Nassr.

This past weekend, Modric went to Saudi Arabia for meetings with the team in an attempt to get back together with Cristiano Ronaldo, his former Real Madrid teammate.

Al Nassr wants to bring the Croatian midfield player, who cost €35 million to sign with Real Madrid after leaving Tottenham in 2012, to the Middle East, according to Arab publication Al-Weeam.

Since then, Modric has proven to be among the greatest midfield players of his generation, leading Los Blancos to 22 championships and one Ballon d’Or.

Real Madrid’s contract with the Croatian international will expire in the summer, and both sides have yet as well as once take home the Ballon d’Or.

The Croatian international’s current contract with Real Madrid expires in the summer, and a new agreement has not yet been agreed upon by the parties.

The midfielder’s future at the Santiago Bernabeu is in question. with rumors of his potential transfer to the SPL currently circulating.

Despite his preference to finish his career at Santiago Bernabeu, the 37-year-old has hinted that he would be amenable to a reunion with Ronaldo.

It has now been revealed that the Croatian is anticipated to meet with Al-Aalami in Saudi Arabia to discuss a possible transfer.
