Kai Havertz made headlines by scoring a goal just four minutes into playing as a left-back in a friendly match where the German national team lost to Turkey 2-3. Havertz’s unexpecteԀ role as a left-back surprised fans and experts, given his versatility as a player who can excel in various positions in midfield and аttаck. While he had never played as a left-back before, his effectiveness in the role, as demonstrated by his goal from Leroy Sane’s cross, gave rise to the suggestion that Arteta should consider deploying Havertz in a similar position at Arsenal.

“Kai will not play in a fixed position. I have a great idea because he is an exceptional player. Playing as a left-back is a good position, but not a traditional left-back,” explained Nagelsmann regarding his decision to field Havertz as a left-back against Turkey.

Arteta’s trust in Havertz’s abilities was rewarded with his opening goal. Arsenal fans were quick to suggest that Arteta should learn from Nagelsmann’s approach and make use of Havertz in a similar way. Comments such as “Arteta should learn right away. The method of using Kai Havertz is already there,” and “Arteta is about to go crаzy after the FIFA break,” reflected the excitement and surprise of witnessing Havertz’s goal.

Prior to his time at Arsenal, Havertz scored 19 goals in three seasons with Chelsea. However, since joining Arsenal in the summer of 2023, the German international has only managed to score one goal and provide one assist in 19 matches. Arsenal fans are starting to feel deceived by Chelsea’s handling of Havertz.
