THE world’s most valuable footballers have been named… with Erling Haaland joint top.
Haaland, 23, is the highest-valued of five Premier League stars to make the top ten.
Erling Haaland has scored 69 goals in 71 appearances for Man City.
But he has to share top spot with an icon of LaLiga.
Transfer fees have continued to rise to crazy levels in recent seasons.
But brainiacs over at the CIES Football Observatory have crunched the numbers to calculate what the top footballers are really worth.
So without further ado, let’s check out who CIES have ranked in their top ten.
7= Gabriel Martinelli – £130m
With five players deemed to be worth £130m, we’ve had to actually include 11 stars.
Arsenal ace Martinelli is valued extremely highly, having impressed for the Gunners since joining for just £6m from Ituano.
7= Julian Alvarez – £130m
Manchester City’s Argentine World Cup winner has it all going on.
The 23-year-old forward has become a Pep Guardiola favourite, starting every Premier League game for City this term.
Gabriel Martinelli has impressed for Arsenal.
Julian Alvarez has started all 12 of Man City’s Prem games this term to date.
7= Jamal Musiala – £130m
German star is the one that got away for England, having represented the Three Lions at youth level before switching to the country of his birth.
At just 20 he is already a key man at Bayern Munich, and there’s plenty more to come from the silky star.
7= Phil Foden – £130m
Homegrown ace is the second Man City player to make the list.
After a slightly down year by his standards last time out, Foden has become a key man yet again at the Etihad this term.
7= Gavi – £130m
At just 19-years-old homegrown Barcelona midfielder Gavi is already one of Xavi’s most important players.
He suffered a devastating blow over the weekend, however, being ruled out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury.
Jamal Musiala is already one of Bayern Munich’s key players.
Phil Foden looks back to his best for Man City this season.
Barcelona will have to do without Gavi for the rest of this season.
3= Kylian Mbappe – £175m
French superstar lit up last year’s World Cup final but has surprisingly been kept off top spot.
The 24-year-old is among the world’s most-coveted players and will be out of contract next year.
3= Bukayo Saka – £175m
England winger is the second Arsenal player to make this list.
The 22-year-old’s sensational form last season was rewarded by a megabucks new deal making him the Gunners’ highest-earner back in May.
3= Rodrygo – £175m
The first of two amazing Brazilian Real Madrid wingers on this list, Rodrygo is still just 22-years-old.
He has scored five goals and assisted a further four efforts in 17 appearances so far this season, and regularly gets fans’ bums off seats.
3= Jude Bellingham – £175m
England superstar Bellingham is somehow not in top spot on this list, despite scoring 13 goals in his first 14 games for Real Madrid.
The 20-year-old is primed to play a key role for England at Euro 2024 next year.
Kylian Mbappe has missed out on top spot.
Bukayo Saka is Arsenal’s best player.
Rodrygo has the world at his feet at Real Madrid.

1= Vinicius Jr – £218m
Level with Haaland is Real Madrid ace Vinicius Jr.
The Brazilian has blossomed into an incredible player at just 23, and last season grabbed 23 goals and 21 assists from the wing in all competitions.
Vinicius Jr is joint top with Erling Haaland.
