Exclusive: A look at Taylor Swift’s tearful conversation with her partner Travis Kelce over the phone shortly after she left the Brazilian stage, before he reunited with his Chiefs teammates on the day of the Super Bowl rematch match.

Travis Kelce, a 34-year-old tight end for Kansas City, decided to stay away from his team on the eve of the biggest game of the season in order to console Taylor Swift, who was thousands of miles away on tour in Brazil. As soon as Taylor’s show at Rio’s Nilton Santos Stadium ended, Kelce and her had an emotional thirty-minute phone conversation.

Just before the game on Sunday night, Kelce can be seen arriving at the team hotel in exclusive photos that DailyMail.com was able to secure.

However, Travis was observed talking on the phone with his significant other, feeling disheartened and saddened that their reunion tonight was not meant to be, while other players abandoned their cars and entered the arena.

As Kelce talked to his sweetie, he appeared relieved. His serious demeanor and seeming preoccupation were a far cry from the confident smile that his followers had become accustomed to since he first started going out with Swift.

Kelce consoled and supported a tearful Swift ahead of his big game Monday night

Swift, 33, returned to the stadium with tears in her eyes on Sunday night. She reminded the crowd how much she loved them and dedicated a song to Ana Clara Benvides, 23, a fan who passed away on Friday due to a heart attack in the same oppressive heat that forced Swift to reschedule her performance for tonight.

The alteration completely upended the lovers’ plans because Kelce had hoped that Swift would be present to support him on Monday during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl rematch versus the Philadelphia Eagles, which also features a matchup between Kelce and his brother Jason.

Rather, he had to comfort and encourage a heartbroken Swift before she joined his squad on Sunday night.

Swift’s presence at the game on Monday night would have demonstrated even more how much the Kelce family has embraced her, as they show up in large numbers to support brothers Travis and Jason, the center for the Philadelphia Eagles and Jason, whose rivalry is an incredible tale of NFL success.

More than anything, though, this trip to Kansas City was supposed to be the first time Kelce spent time with the lady who, it is abundantly obvious, is at the center of his universe, sharing his new home.

According to DailyMail.com, Kelce moved into the $6 million house he bought last month with Swift and their future together very much in mind.

After her performance in Rio on Sunday night, Swift was scheduled to arrive in Missouri on Monday. However, she canceled Sunday’s performance due to worries over crowd safety in the intense Rio heat.

Rather than waiting impatiently for her to arrive, Kelce cut a solemn figure as he did errands late on Sunday morning. He pulled into the opulent gated neighborhood where he now resides, stopping to pick up mail while sporting the laid-back style for which he has become renowned—a camo tracksuit and slides.
