Predicted ManUtd XI vs Everton: Onana in doubt, Maguire and Lindelof start

Manchester United return to action this weekend after a two-week vacation. Erik ten Hag’s side would have preferred an easier encounter than an Everton side fired up after their recent point deduction…

Three things noticed during Man United training ahead of Everton clash

Even during the international break, the Red Devils’ injuries have been piling up. While traveling with Uruguay, Facundo Pellistri picked up a problem, while Marcus Rashford and Andre Onana’s problems have been alleviated.

It was difficult to put up a squad for this one. Jonny Evans has left the team. Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund were also present. Luke Shaw is on the mend, but I doubt he’d be thrown into the deep end right away.

Anyway, here’s a detailed breakdown of our anticipated team for this major showdown.

Check out our entire anticipated MUFC XI vs. Everton here:

First and foremost, we have the aforementioned Onana, who will remain on the team. Altay Bayindir, who is gifted, will have to wait for his chance.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka begins at right back following a string of impressive performances since his comeback. Sergio Reguilon will play as left back, although for how long is unknown considering Shaw’s impending arrival. Victor Lindelof has returned from illness to partner Harry Maguire at the heart of the back four.

United’s midfield is decimated. Scott McTominay has looked half-decent of late, and he will play alongside Mason Mount, who has been quietly waiting for his chance. Bruno Fernandes captains the team as the #10 position.

Anthony Martial will lead the line today, with the Frenchman also having to wait his turn. Antony is to his right, and he sorely needs a goal to boost his confidence. Marcus Rashford takes the field on the left. It’s fair to say that this front three might be a very mixed bag, but it’s the best we have…
