Liverpool received a boost ahead of their Premier League clΠ°sh with Manchester City as Joe Gomez, Ryan Gravenberch, Curtis Jones, and Ibrahima Konate all returned to training. The quartet had missed the previous game against Brentford, with Gomez experiencing an undisclosed issue and Gravenberch nursing a knee problem.

Curtis Jones had been sidelined due to a thigh ΞΉnjury, while Konate had to withdrΠ°w from the French national team during the international break due to a hamstring problem. However, all four players participated in training on Thursday, along with the returning South American contingent of Alisson Becker, Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, and Alexis Mac Allister.

Liverpool, who trail Manchester City by just one point in the league standings, are set to face their title rivals at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday. The champions were held to a 4-4 draw against Chelsea in their previous outing.

Unfortunately, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is still without the services of Andy Robertson. The left-back suffered a shoulder ΞΉnjury while playing for Scotland against Spain in October’s international break. Robertson underwent surgery and has missed the team’s last seven games. Gomez and Kostas Tsimikas have been filling in at left-back in his absence. There is currently no clear timeframe for Robertson’s return to full fitness and the starting lineup.
