There is never too much excess in DJ Khaled’s world of excess.
The music producer recently spent a day lounging in a five-bedroom, $34.5 million mansion on artificial Hibiscus Island, Miami, beneath the warm Miami sun.
Among the amazing features that make the 11,000 square foot ONE Sotheby’s megamansion ideal for entertaining are a shimmering infinity pool with views of the ocean and the city beyond, a wooden dock big enough for a yacht (or a fleet of Jet Skis), an outdoor lounge area with roomy couches and lovely views of Miami Beach.
The centerpiece of the home’s indoor-outdoor space is the elevated outdoor kitchen with a built-in BBQ and bar, tucked away among the palm trees on the property.
The interior of the home is stunning, with a second kitchen that is situated closer to the center and has a modern color scheme of cool grey and vivid orange. A gorgeous glass coffee table takes center stage in the spacious living space that opens to the patio and backyard pool through a wall of glass sliders.
The main bedroom has a sitting area, reclining chairs, and an adjoining bathroom. Every bedroom has a floor-to-ceiling glass slider that opens to a private balcony. The sofa is a yellow banana, adding a splash of color to the otherwise monochromatic, ultramodern space. A floating staircase that is inverted connects the floors. An incredible feature of the house is a playroom created just for DJ Khaled’s beloved two-year-old son, Asahd.
