After leasing mansions in Beverly Hills, Malibu, and other parts of the greater Los Angeles area, Nicki Minaj has decided to become a homeowner.
Property records show that the Grammy-winning rapper, who spent an impressive $19.5 million on a brand-new mansion, has moved her renowned “Starships” into the guard-gated community of Hidden Hills in the San Fernando Valley.
The massive contemporary farmhouse constructed by a local developer this year, according to the property agent, sold “before listing on the MLS.” Thus, it was never made available to the general public.
The only information we have about the nearly 12,000 square foot mansion comes from tax documents, which list eight bedrooms, nine complete bathrooms, and two powder rooms. Other than that, there are no pictures or details available.
In the backyard is a segregated guesthouse and a saltwater pool with a Jacuzzi and a Baja shelf for sunning. The one-acre level site features lush gardens, a three-car garage, and a large amount of screening plants.
The second-floor master bedroom has a private balcony overlooking the garden, and pocketing glass doors lead to a variety of patios and terraces throughout the remainder of the house.
Minaj has a preference for large homes. The singer, who is 40 years old and was born in Trinidad and Tobago, currently resides with her spouse in Calabasas, one of the many safe neighborhoods in the city, in a rented mansion atop a hill.
The mansion that Minaj, Petty, and their entourage currently live in was constructed in the 1990s in the Mediterranean style. It has more than 10,000 square feet of living space, marble flooring, six bedrooms, and nine bathrooms. However, it is anticipated that they will soon move into their new, even more extravagant Hidden Hills mansion.
Once a sleepy, horse farm-filled hamlet reminiscent of Kentucky, Hidden Hills is now well-liked by celebrities who prefer seclusion in their personal life, particularly singers and professional athletes.
This region is home to a sizable portion of the Kardashian family, Madonna, Jessica Simpson, Will and Jada Smith, Lori Loughlin, Sylvester Stallone, Ben Simmons, and the rest of the current Los Angeles Rams roster. These days, the neighborhood most likely has more Ferraris and Lamborghinis than horses.
The same business represented both the buyer, Aaron Kirman and Matt Adamo of AKG, and the seller, Aaron Kirman and Danielle Nisim of AKG.
