In a playful bet with CJ Stroud, Tom Brady put one of his Super Bowl rings on the line in a wager involving Michigan and Ohio State

The game between Michigan and Ohio State is scheduled for November 25. However, Tom Brady was prepared to stake something very unique for the match: one of his Super Bowl rings. He already had one of college football’s biggest rivalry games on his mind.

He was at least amenable to making a joke about displaying one of his Super Bowl rings. Brady can probably afford to part with one of his seven NFL rings from his time with the Patriots and Buccaneers.

Brady felt compelled to wager on the upcoming Michigan-Ohio State game when he brought former Buckeye quarterback C.J. Stroud of the Houston Texans to his Let’s Go! podcast this week.

“All right, let’s make a wager,” Brady informed Stroud. Therefore, if Ohio State prevails—which I don’t think is likely—whatever. You’ll get one of my Super Bowl rings [if Ohio State wins]. You have to give me all of your youth, all of your agility, all of your time in the 40s, and all of your future NFL years if Michigan defeats Ohio State. What do you about that?

“Well, that’s a wager,” Stroud exclaimed with delight.

Brady didn’t seem to think that Stroud would accept his offer.

“I’ve never bet my Super Bowl ring, so I should be a little nervous,” he stated.

But if Brady’s Wolverines lose against Stroud’s Buckeyes, he won’t be accepting one of his rings.

Tom’s Super Bowl ring belongs to him, Stroud declared, “I’m not going to take it, bro.” I’d like to have my own.”

That’s a great response from Stroud, who is not only the front-runner to win the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year title this year but is also gaining significant momentum in the MVP race because to his recent outstanding play. With just two interceptions against 15 touchdown passes, he has led the Texans to a 5-4 record this season.

The Michigan vs. Ohio State game this year is looking like a wild one. With the Wolverines at No. 2 and the Buckeyes at No. 3, both teams are currently 10-0.

Despite Michigan’s two consecutive victories over its rivals, Stroud thinks Ohio State is the team to beat this year.

“We’re confident, man. You want to see us play our best ball in November, and we’re feeling terrific too,” he remarked. “Hopefully, we succeed. We require it.

Stroud said, “I despise you guys, but I still respect you.”
