P-Square’s Lavish Pursuit: Acquiring Expensive Jet for Pleasure

Fans of the Nigerian music duo Peter and Paul Okoye, popularly known as P-Square, were initially thrilled by reports of their acquisition of a private jet. However, it has now been revealed that the group does not actually own a private jet.

In an exclusive interview on Peace FM’s ‘Entertainment Review,’ P-Square’s publicist, Bayo Adetu, clarified the situation. He explained that while P-Square does not own a private jet, they have entered into an agreement with a private jet company. This arrangement allows them to have access to a designated private jet whenever they require it.

Adetu stated, “Concerning the private jet, I think it’s been added to P-Square’s entourage because we have a deal with a private jet company. So, whenever P-Square has any official show, they are entitled to travel with the private jet anytime, any day.” This exclusive arrangement sets P-Square apart as the only artist in Africa with such a privilege, granting them full access to a private jet whenever needed.

Confirming the authenticity of the reported deal with Universal Records, Adetu mentioned that the contract was signed on May 31, 2012. He clarified that the agreement was not limited to South Africa but was a worldwide contract. The signing took place in South Africa, and the documents were subsequently transferred to Universal Records’ worldwide headquarters. This deal holds significant global significance for P-Square.

Adetu hinted at exciting developments that could arise from this contract, stating, “I think a lot of good things are coming their way, and this contract is just one of them. Both parties are happy about the contract, and we are comfortable with everything that comes with it. That’s all I can sаy for now.”

The conversation also touched upon P-Square’s notable collaboration with American rapper Rick Ross. Their joint work, titled ‘Beautiful Onyinye,’ was a significant achievement for the duo. They released both the song and its video worldwide, with the video being shot in Miami, Florida, and Cape Town, South Africa. P-Square’s elder brother, Jude Okoye, who also serves as their manager, directed the video.

while the news of P-Square owning a private jet turned out to be a misunderstanding, the duo’s partnership with a private jet company and their deal with Universal Records indicate promising prospects for their career.
