Arnold Schwarzenegger, a 76-year-old former governor of California, just appeared on The Graham Norton Show last weekend. The Terminator actor acknowledges that before they were “great friends,” he and Sylvester Stallone were “cinematic rivals.”

“We compete fiercely in our line of work and consider ourselves to be winners. “Everyone aspires to possess the most attractive physique in films,” declared Arnold Schwarzenegger.

“Then, when we both invested in Planet Hollywood, we started flying around the world together to promote and gradually became great friends,” he stated.

Since 1970, Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger have been well-known and wealthy in Hollywood. Schwarzenegger’s career took off with the release of Hercules in New York in 1970, while Stallone’s Rocky earned him an Oscar in 1976.

Apart from their collaboration with Planet Hollywood, these two action stars have previously acted together in the flicks Escape Plan (2013) and The Expendables series.

In terms of his personal life, ten years after announcing their split, Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife finalized their divorce in December 2021. After 25 years of marriage, Sylvester Stallone’s wife Jennifer Flavin filed for divorce in 2022.
