The star of the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelce, has revealed tidbits about his romance with Taylor Swift!
In the episode of “New Heights,” his podcast with brother Jason Kelce, released on Wednesday, Travis referred to his famous girlfriend as “Tay.”
Recently, Taylor like a Chiefs Instagram post that celebrated Travis’ accomplishment of becoming the quickest tight end to surpass 11,000 receiving yards.
Jason stated that Taylor is cool, and Travis said, “Thanks, Tay. Thank you for your support on the Chiefs website.
When Jason inquired as to Taylor’s preference for tight ends, Travis played it cool, responding, “I’m not sure if she likes tight ends or not.” I must inquire with her.
Kelce recently opened up on how he met Taylor in a feature for WSJ. magazine’s December/January 2024 issue.
The player for the Kansas City Chiefs had earlier stated on his podcast that he intended to provide Swift his phone number while they were together.
He told WSJ., “There were definitely people she knew that knew who I was, in her corner [who said]: ‘Yo! Did you know he was coming?’ I had somebody playing Cupid.”
He learned this after Swift contacted him. “She told me exactly what was going on and how I got lucky enough to get her to reach out.”
Dishing on their first date, the tight end said, “When I met her in New York, we had already kind of been talking, so I knew we could have a nice dinner and, like, a conversation, and what goes from there will go from there.”
Ever since September, the two have been connected.
With Swift’s trip to Japan scheduled for February, it seems probable that their friendship will only deepen over the holidays.
A source close to Travis recently told People magazine, “Travis’ friends think this is the real deal for him. They’re still a little shocked by all of it — that he’s dating the Taylor Swift, but they’ve seen how down to earth she is with his friends and family.”
“Their relationship is about the two of them, and he sees Taylor for who she is and vice versa,” the source explained further.
