Chancellor Johnathan Bennett, the Grammy-winning rapper Chance the Rapper, just bought a brand-new bed and breakfast in a Chicago suburb. The Chicago Tribune reported on the $2.3 million acquisition. After renting in the neighborhood for a while, Chance and his wife Kirsten decided to look for a permanent home because they loved the Bannockburn area.
The couple’s taste and commitment are evident in their new house. Situated in the esteemed Bannockburn community, the establishment welcomes visitors with a quaint and cozy ambiance. Even if the material presented does not go into detail about the bed and breakfast, it is implied that Chance and Kirsten intend to welcome visitors looking for a distinctive and cozy place to stay.
When the $3.2 million French country-style property became up for sale in 2012, Chance the Rapper and his wife Kirsten made a substantial investment in it. The property had multiple price reductions over time in an effort to draw in prospective purchasers. After declining to $2,775,000 by 2016, the price had a temporary uptick to $2,899,999 in 2017 as a result of a changed pricing approach. But by the end of 2017 and again in 2018, the asking price had dropped to $2,575,000 and $2,595,000, respectively, because there were no interested parties.
The house was relisted in August of last year for $2,599,900, and Chance the Rapper bought it a month later for even less money. According to The Chicago Tribune, the purchase was conducted through an LLC, giving the couple discretion and secrecy.
Chance the Rapper’s private retreat is located just 30 miles from downtown Chicago on a vast 3.7-acre estate in the affluent Bannockburn Brae area. This opulent estate provides a calm and private haven from the busy metropolis.
With five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms spread across more than 925 square feet, there is plenty of room for relaxation and seclusion. Every bedroom provides guests with a cozy and peaceful environment, guaranteeing a good night’s sleep.
