Alejandro Garnacho scored a fantastic first goal for Manchester United in the Champions League, following up his fantastic goal against Everton.
Garnacho broke the deadlock in United’s crucial game in just 11 minutes. Following a neat move by Scott McTominay and Bruno Fernandes, the Argentine sent a high shot past Fernando Muslera at his near post to score it 1-0. Next, Garnacho uttered Cristiano Ronaldo’s well-known “calma, calma” welcome.
Garnacho’s goal follows his incredible overhead kick in the previous game against Everton. However, Arturo Vidal chastised him for his “Siuuu” dance, which appeared to be Ronaldo’s, following the game. Former Bayern and Barcelona midfielder says Garnacho needs to “make his own name.” The young player for United certainly looks to be doing that with all of his goals. In a game Ten Hag’s team had to win, his most recent goal gave the Red Devils a strong early advantage.
Garnacho can’t be dropped right now because of his incredible form. When Manchester United plays Newcastle in the Premier League at St. James’ Park on Saturday, he most likely will start again.
