In Philadelphia, Sylvester Stallone went back to the steps that made him and his Rocky persona a significant figure in Hollywood history.
The renowned actor visited the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Wednesday along with his brother Frank Stallone and wife Jennifer Flavin.
Movie fans may remember that two key moments in Rocky (1976) had Stallone’s character Rocky Balboa rehearsing for his figҺt with Apollo Creed against the backdrop of the museum’s steps.
To commemorate the occasion The trio posed in the well-known location 47 years after the sequences were shot, including one in which Sylvester and his wife kiss passionately.
Frank Stallone, 73, captioned the photo, saying, “On our way back to Florida we stopped by the steps of the [Philadelphia] Art Museum Steps, which my brother put on the map with Rocky 47 years ago.”

Sylvester, 77, moved in for a kiss while wearing black jeans, a button-down shirt, and sneakers. His left arm was encircling his wife’s waist.
Flavin, 55, would also wear faded blue trousers, a black sweater over a white T-shirt, and white sneakers as part of a laid-back look.
The mother-of-three had some long hair left out to frame her face and her long locks wrapped up into a bun.
Frank would also tell his fans that ‘a Fourth of July concert he played in 1985 for over a hundred thоusand people with The Beach Boys” took place against the backdrop of the stairs.
The actor and singer said, “I lived across the street, so I’m very familiar with the steps.”
The Far from Over actor continued, saying that they had “a wonderful day of memories” at the museum, which is also the location of a 2006 permanently erected statue of Rocky to the north of the base of the steps.
