According to sources from CalcioMercato, Arsenal is considering the recruitment of Genoa star Radu Dragusin at a reasonable price. Radu Dragusin joined the Juventus youth academy in the summer of 2018 and was promoted to the first team in the winter of 2021. However, he didn’t have many opportunities to showcase his talents and was subsequently loaned out to Genoa to further his career development.
During his loan spell at Genoa in the summer of 2022, the 21-year-old played a crucial role in their promotion to Serie A and officially joined the club in a deal worth 5.5 million euros. Despite Genoa’s struggles as a team, Dragusin has consistently displayed impressive performances, averaging 5 clearances and 3.3 ball recoveries per match.
His outstanding performances have caught the attention of bigger clubs, including Roma and Arsenal. The certainty and potential shown by the young star have garnered interest from top teams. While Arsenal already possesses a quality defense, they are still focused on building long-term sustainability, making Dragusin a suitable target.
According to CalcioMercato sources, Genoa is open to parting ways with Dragusin but has set a minimum asking price of 30 million euros.
