Hollywood superstars Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Jason Statham caused a frenzy among fans during their visit to China this week. The purpose of their trip was to promote the latest installment of the Fast & Furious franchise, Hobbs and Shaw. 

The dynamic duo made appearances in both Beijing and Guangzhou, and their presence was met with immense excitement from fans in both cities. The Rock and Statham’s visit undoubtedly left a lasting impression on their Chinese fan base.

Of course, in addition to meeting with media and fans, The Rock found some downtime to pump iron and sip tequila – two of his favorite pastimes, if his Instagram is any indication. 

 

In Beijing, Johnson and Statham met with fans and journalists at Bright Film-Television Culture Park on August 5. According to a source at the scene, the Guangzhou promo event was held yesterday at the Four Seasons Guangzhou.
