Zendaya brought true magic to the  Met Gala in a luminous dress, accompanied by her fairy godfather, television presenter Law Roach. The fairytale began as Zendaya arrived on Monday night at the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, which were dyed pink for the occasion, to attend the fashion industry’s most important “ball.”

The dress worn by the singer, designed by Tommy Hilfiger, was a replica of Cinderella’s famous blue gown. The magic unfolded when Roach, dressed as a fairy godmother, applied a vaporous material to the dress, causing it to illuminate in reaction to the fabric.

To the surprise and admiration of those present, Zendaya’s dress gradually lit up from head to toe, transforming the star into a real-life princess. The enchanting story continued as she ascended the staircase, recreating the moment when the Disney princess loses her glass slipper.
