Hollywood: “Rocky III” replica Rocky monument costing more than USD 400,000 was purchased by veteran actor Sylvester Stallone.According to TMZ, the “Expendables” star placed an anonymous bid on the replica during an auction and then paid a significant amount for it.

Stallone paid USD 403,657 for the nine-foot-tall, 1800-pound statue, which was then transported to Los Angeles.The original, which was utilized in the film, was created by artist A. Thomas Schomberg and is currently on exhibit in Philadelphia.

This one had been on display at the San Diego Hall of Champions, but as the establishment folded, it had to be sold.   PTI
