Rapper, record executive, and producer Rick Ross just purchased a “$5 billion” private aircraft.
While showing his new toy, Ross said that although it was his first plane, it was probably not going to be his last.
The Grammy Award-nominated artist says he is an enthusiastic automobile collector and that cars account for a big part of his $55 million net worth.
More than 100 of his cars were on display during his recent auto exhibition, which was held at his Atlanta home.

It was initially supposed to seat twenty, but Ross had it modified to make extra room.
In relation to that, the aircraft has been fully modified, featuring luxurious leather upholstery throughout and striking external paintwork.
It’s actually rather eye-catching, with a large “Rick Ross” inscription on the fuselage and a silhouette in black and gold.

Several well-known celebs sent comments on the rapper’s Instagram pictures of his newest purchase.
Three other rappers, Big Sean, TY Dolla Sign, and Busta Rhymes, took a moment to express their gratitude to Ross.
Former professional wrestler Dwayne Johnson, an actor, and German fashion designer Philipp Plein both offered remarks.

The plane in question is a 2012 Gulfstream G550.
As a matter of fact, Wells Fargo, the bank, bought it new before “Maybach Air,” one of Rick Ross’s companies, did in 2023.
The 47-year-old’s record label, Maybach Music Group, is named after the German automaker Maybach since he is such a fan.
Although Rick Ross calls it a “$5 billion jet,” it’s not exactly clear what he means by that.
The cost of a Gulfstream G550 ranges from $15 million to $40 million.
