Trent Alexander-Arnold, the Liverpool footballer, has expressed his commitment to helping those affected by the city’s homelessness crisis. He joined the Whitechapel Centre, one of Liverpool’s largest homelessness charities, to assist in packing emerge𝚗cy parcels for nearly 2,000 people.

 With rough sleeping in the city increasing by over 50% in the past year, Alexander-Arnold believes it is crucial to address this growing issue. He described supporting the cause as a “no brainer” and emphasized the importance of organizations like the Whitechapel Centre in tackling homelessness.

 Alexander-Arnold’s involvement demonstrates his long-standing dedication to giving back to his community, and he aims to raise awareness and bring about positive change. Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram praised his contribution and highlighted the significance of individuals and charities making a difference in people’s lives, while calling for broader structural reform to address the root causes of homelessness.
