After 25 years of marriage, Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin called it quits, reportedly over a dog.

TMZ is told by sources Friday saw Jennifer petition for divorce following a heated argument with Sly around his new dog. According to the insiders, she declined his request for a Rottweiler to aid with family protection. And then he still got the dog.

“So incredibly happy with my newly acquired four legged friend DWIGHT“ my characters name from the [‘Tulsa King’] Series, keep punching and keep barking!!!” Stallone wrote on Instagram this month after sharing images and videos of his new dog Dwight. A big thank you to breeder and trainer Dave Smith and his amazing wife!”

Sly has been filming in Oklahoma, and according to sources, she was taken aback when Flavin announced his divorce.

The dog narrative may help to explain why, a few days after she filed, Sly had a dog tattooed on his right shoulder in place of the picture of Jennifer. Rumors about the new ink were divided.

The spokesperson for Sly, however, denied the tattoo rumors, telling DailyMail.com that “Mr. Stallone intended to refresh the image of his wife Jennifer in the tattoo, but the results were unsatisfactory and, unfortunately, unfixable.” He was forced to cover the original picture with a tattoo of his dog, Butkus, from “Rocky.”

“Mr. Stallone loves his family,” the representative continued. The Stallones are currently in the process of filming a reality show that will air on Paramount+.

In addition, Jennifer shared a picture of the three daughters along with the statement, “These girls are my priority,” which fueled suspicions of a breakup. Everything else is irrelevant. The four of us, always.

Flavin is now requesting their Palm Beach home in her divorce documents, at least while the divorce is pending.

Sly, who is reportedly worth $400 million, is allegedly being accused by her of concealing or transferring marital assets. A prenuptial agreement isn’t mentioned.

Flavin asserts in the documents that “the Husband has intentionally engaged in the dissipation, depletion, and/or waste of marital assets, which has had a negative economic impact on the marital estate, based on information and belief. Equity requires that the Wife be made whole and compensated by getting an uneven division of the marital assets in her favor, as per Section 61.075 of the Florida Statutes. Additionally, while the case is pending, the husband should be prohibited from selling, transferring, assigning, encumbering, or dispersing any assets.”

Jennifer requests that Sly be prohibited from transferring any joint property. She also wants Flavin to be legally reverted to her name.

For their 25th anniversary, Stallone honored Flavin on Instagram in May.

“Happy 25th anniversary to my amazing wife,” the actor posted on his blog. I hope they could be another twenty-five! Words cannot express the immense value this wonderfully selfless, patient, and dedicated woman has brought to our lives! I’m grateful, my love.”

On their daughters Sophia and Sistine’s “Unwaxed” podcast, the Stallones made an appearance earlier this year in an episode titled “Stallone Family Therapy.” Now, the interview has an eerie irony.

In it, Sophia comments that her mom and dad are “polar opposites” but “literally cannot live without one another.”

When asked what they do for each other, Jennifer says, “I keep him extremely organized… So I do everything from the minute we wake up to getting him coffee… I go through your schedule, you tell a few jokes, I laugh, that’s what keeps us going.” She adds, “He’s the funniest man I’ve ever met.”

Stallone teases, “I just aggravate the hell out of her,” before adding, “I think she’s fantastic, an amazing woman. I tell her that every day. I don’t know how she holds it together. She’s just amazing, but she’s a little crazy… When I say ‘crazy,’ I mean ‘good crazy.'”

When asked about how they keep their relationship “young and fun,” Jennifer says, “We just don’t take it too seriously.”

Stallone, 76, and Flavin, 54, wed in 1997. They are the parents of Sophia, 25, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20.
