Mbappe Shines, but PSG Settle for Draw against Lille 😢⚽️

Due to suspension, PSG marched to Lille’s field without the services of Donnarumma in goal. Notably, despite only being 16 years old, Ethan Mbappe, the younger brother of striker Kylian Mbappe, is still listed on the playing roster.

PSG, who had a better team, controlled the ball better and dominated play, but the home team’s tight defense limited them to just one shot on goal in the first half.

The first half ended without any goals being scored, despite Lille having numerous dangerous opportunities that they could have taken towards goalkeeper Arnau Tenas’s net. In the 67th minute of play, striker Kylian Mbappe’s goal from the penalty spot broke the tie and sent the game into halftime.Mbappe a>

Prior to that, the referee pointed to the penalty spot as soon as defender Diakite fouled Lucas Hernandez in the penalty area. Mbappe put PSG ahead with ease, defeating goalkeeper Chevalier.

Lille, the home team, increased their squad despite being behind and put a great deal of pressure on the opposition. Though it appeared as though PSG would take all three points, Lille managed to salvage a point at home thanks to an accurate goal from Jonathan David in the 90+5 minute.
