Bukayo Saka Helps Build Container Village in Morocco to Provide Homes for Earthquake Survivors. Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has played a significant role in funding and constructing a container village in Morocco to provide housing for those affected by a devastating earthquake. The village, consisting of 50 containers, will serve as a home for 255 people in the Taroudant region.

Following the earthquake, which claimed the lives of 42 people in the village, Saka joined forces with the charity BigShoe to support the survivors. The young footballer expressed his shоck upon hearing the news and immediately felt cоmpelled to help those in need. Together with the charity, they swiftly devised a plan to provide shelter and comfort to the displaced families.

Saka stated, “We were able to put a roof over their head and offer some solace and hope to those who have lost everything through no fault of their own. Our aim is to help these 84 families, especially the 89 children, regain a sense of normalcy in their daily lives.”

The containers in the village are equipped with sleeping areas, kitchenettes, bathrooms, showers, and electricity, ensuring basic living conditions for the residents. Saka’s collaboration with BigShoe is not the first instance of his philanthropic efforts, as he has previously worked with the charity to assist those in need.

Through his compassion and generosity, Saka has made a significant impact in providing homes and support to the earthquake survivors, offering them a chance to rebuild their lives and find hope amidst adversity.
