Lil Baby is one of the few emcees who can say that every rapper, old and young, considers him a favourite. He has had an incredible past year, catapulting himself to the top of the rap game. Baby has climbed the charts with hit after hit, and he’s slowly becoming every artist’s go-to rapper for features. In addition, his album, My Turn, is one of the best-selling albums of the year. Following its February release, Lil Baby’s sophomore album sold nearly 200,000 units, propelling the rapper to the top of the Billboard 200 charts.

His critically acclaimed album has grown in popularity due to singles such as his multi-platinum selling single “Woah” and “We Paid” featuring 42 Dugg. It also features significant contributions from Gunna, Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, and Future.

During the George Floyd protests, his song “The Bigger Picture” was used as a soundtrack, and his video “We Paid” is one of the most viewed on YouTube. It’s only fitting that he celebrate his enormous success and all of the hard work he’s put in for his birthday.

He hosted several parties for the occasion, but his party, which included an Icebox store set-up, may have taken the cake. ICEBOX cleaned jewellery for all of the guests in attendance and also had their shop open for people to pick up new ice…and if that isn’t the epitome of luxury, we don’t know what is. Not only that, but the gifts he received from his friends–ranging from watches to honey buns to $100,000–truly made the event unforgettable.
