Asahd Khaled, DJ Khaled’s son, turned one on Monday, and the world-famous producer and his family lavished attention on their little king.

Asahd Khaled, DJ Khaled’s son, celebrated his first birthday on Monday (Oct. 23), and his parents went all out to honour the world-famous producer.

On Sunday, Khaled and his partner Nicole Tuck purchased Miami’s newly renovated nightclub Liv at the Fountainebleau for an extravagant jungle-themed party. Diddy also made an appearance, hosting the event and singing “Happy Birthday” to the happy 1-year-old.

The typical bar and bottle scene was replaced by a more kid-friendly baby valet, which had mini luxury cars available for the energetic children to ride around the club in style. Dancers were dressed in animal costumes, and Khaled managed to incorporate real-life tiger cubs into the The Lion King-inspired event. Lorena Cartagena, Fat Joe’s wife, and their daughter were also present on Saturday.

The Khaleds were presented with new plaques for their 2017 music achievements while wearing a king’s crown and matching paisley patterned baby blue dress shirts with his father. Diddy celebrated the platinum status of Asahd’s album Grateful, as well as the RIAA’s certification of Chance the Rapper, Lil Wayne, and Justin Bieber’s single “I’m The One” as 5x platinum this year.

Asahd appeared to have had a great weekend, stepping into his second year and even appearing with his father on Complex’s Sneaker Shopping, where the baby mogul showed off his favourite exclusive Air Jordans.
