Erling Haaland has been named World Sports Star of the Year 2023 by BBC Sports Personal after helping Manchester City win the treble.
The Norwegian, 23, scored 52 goals in all competitions as Man City won the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup in the 2022-23 season.
No player has scored more goals for a Premier League club in a single season.
Haaland won the Premier League Golden Boot for the 2022-23 season with a record of 36 goals in 38 matches.

South Africa’s World Cup-winning rugby team captain Siya Kolisi is second, with three-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen third.
Four-time Olympic gymnastics gold medalist Simone Biles, Spain’s World Cup champion Aitana Bonmati and 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic also made the shortlist.
The 2022-23 season is the first season in which striker Haaland signed for Manchester from Borussia Dortmund in June 2022.
Among many individual awards, Haaland won the Gerd Muller Trophy for best goalscorer at the Ballon d’Or awards ceremony, where he also came second in the best player voting.
In November, he became the fastest player to score 50 goals in the Premier League, taking just 48 games to reach the milestone.
He has scored 19 goals this season as City bid to win an unprecedented fourth consecutive Premier League title.
The 2022 World Sports Star winner is captain Lionel Messi of Argentina.
