Felipe Melo has revealed what Jack Grealish said to spark the full-time meltdown at the Cub World Cup final.
Melo and Walker were involved in a heated argument after City’s 4-0 win over Fluminense, with Grealish dragging his captain away.
Footage from the match appeared to show Melo, 40, running up to Walker, who was walking ahead of some of his City team-mates after the final whistle.
A number of players quickly jumped into the confrontation to pull the pair apart, and it seemed like Melo was actually targeting Grealish, with Walker going his own way.
Melo’s post-match statements seemed to support that opinion, with the Brazilian suggesting that it was Grealish who was responsible for what happened.

It looks like Melo is hunting Grealish after normal time, and Walker appears to be in his way
“I’ve seen idiots on social media saying I made a mess,” Melo said after the first half. ‘Just as the idiots said I started the mess with the goal that Gremio scored.
‘During the match against Gremio, I calmly approached the athletes who were celebrating with their fans. And they ended up creating a mess. And I don’t want any clutter. Today Grealish disrespected the Fluminense organization and I will never let that happen.
‘He was shouting ole at the end of the game. This is for the fans, fans can scream ole. Athletes on the field cannot disrespect the organization.
‘So to those idiots who call themselves journalists and have said that I have caused trouble, I have not caused any confusion, on the contrary, I have come to defend Martinelli who is cornered by this athlete. And I will do it again. I am a warrior.’
