It’s 1994 all over again!

Jamie Lee Curtis and Arnold Schwarzenegger, who costarred in the hit movie True Lies, got back together over the weekend, almost 30 years after the film’s initial theatrical release. To commemorate, Curtis, 64, even posted some adorable pictures of the pair on her Instagram page.

The 76-year-old former governor of California and the Oscar-winning actress spent time together on Saturday at a fundraiser for the After-School All-Stars nonprofit, which helps underprivileged kids.

The Terminator star wore a black T-shirt and high socks, while Curtis donned a flower crown and a German dirndl dress in the photos. The two also took pictures with chef Hans Rockenwagner, who was well-groomed and fit the apparent theme.

Almost a year had passed since their last public get-together in October 2022, when Curtis was honoured at her hand-and-footprint ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, when the lifelong friends went on their charitable outing.

Schwarzenegger praised Curtis’s performance in True Lies from all those years ago, calling her the “most extraordinary actress” who could “kick some serious ass” during the event, where the two shared a friendly kiss.

In the movie, Schwarzenegger played spy Harry Tasker. “When you go online and you check out Jamie Lee Curtis, you can see all the wonderful things they’re saying about her,” he said. “But there’s always one thing that really pisses me off, and that is when they say that she is a supporting actress in the movie True Lies.”

“It made me want to do another one with him. I walked up to him and I was like, ‘Dude, why aren’t we doing another movie?’ I’m gonna call Jim today,” she said, referring to filmmaker James Cameron.

Of course, True Lies went on to be quite the smash. According to Box Office Mojo, the movie grossed more than $146 million globally, taking in more than $25 million in its first weekend alone in 1994. True Lies also earned an Oscar nod for Best Visual Effects, and won Curtis a best actress Golden Globe Award.
