Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin were divorced after a dog-related argument

Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin ended their 25-year marriage, allegedly due to disagreements about a puppy.

According to sources, TMZ Jennifer filed for divorce on Friday after getting into a furious fight with Sly about his new dog. The insiders claim that she turned down his request for a Rottweiler to help with family security. And still he managed to keep the dog.

Sylvester Stallone addresses reports that a dog caused marriage to end

“I’m overjoyed with my new four-legged buddy, DWIGHT,” as my character from the “Tulsa King” series goes. Keep slapping and yapping! This month, Stallone posted pictures and videos of his new dog, Dwight, on Instagram. Many thanks to trainer and breeder Dave Smith and his wonderful wife!

Sly, who has been filming in Oklahoma, reportedly expressed surprise when Flavin revealed his divorce to her.

The story of the dog might assist to explain why Sly had a dog tattooed on his right shoulder in place of Jennifer’s photo a few days after she filed. On the new ink, there were conflicting rumours.

“Mr. Stallone intended to refresh the image of his wife Jennifer in the tattoo, but the results were unsatisfactory and, unfortunately, unfixable,” a Sly representative said in response to DailyMail.com’s report about the tattoo. He was compelled to cover the original photo with a tattoo of “Rocky”‘s dog, Butkus.

“Mr. Stallone is devoted to his family,” the spokesperson went on. A reality show starring the Stallones is now being filmed for Paramount+.

Suspicions of a breakup were further stoked when Jennifer posted a photo of the three daughters with the caption, “These girls are my priority.” Everything else is not important. Always the four of us.

At least while the divorce is underway, Flavin is now asking for their Palm Beach home to be included in her divorce papers.

She is apparently accusing Sly, who is reputedly worth $400 million, of hiding or transferring marital assets. Nothing about a prenuptial agreement is stated.

Fiery fight over dog broke up Sylvester Stallone's 25-year marriage: report

According to Flavin’s claims made in the paperwork, “based on information and belief, the Husband has intentionally engaged in the dissipation, depletion, and/or waste of marital assets, which has had a negative economic impact on the marital estate.” According to Section 61.075 of the Florida Statutes, equity demands that the Wife be made whole and compensated by receiving an unequal distribution of the marital assets in her favour. The spouse should also not be allowed to sell, transfer, assign, encumber, or distribute any assets while the case is still pending.

Jennifer asks that Sly not be allowed to transfer any joint assets. She also wants Flavin’s name to be officially changed back to hers.

In May, Stallone paid tribute to Flavin on Instagram in honour of their 25th anniversary.

The actor said, “Happy 25th anniversary to my amazing wife,” on his personal site. I’m hoping for an additional twenty-five! The great value this extremely patient, selfless, and dedicated woman has given to our lives is beyond words! I’m appreciative, my dear.”

The Stallones appeared earlier this year in an episode titled “Stallone Family Therapy” on their daughters Sophia and Sistine’s podcast, “Unwaxed.” There’s a sinister irony to this interview now.

Sophia remarks in it that although her parents are “polar opposites,” they “literally cannot live without one another.”

“I keep him extremely organised,” Jennifer responds when asked what she does for the other. Thus, I take care of everything, even getting him coffee as soon as we get up. We continue when I go through your itinerary and you crack a few jokes, which makes me laugh. “He’s the funniest man I’ve ever met,” she continues.

“I just irritate the hell out of her,” Stallone teases, before continuing, “I think she’s fantastic, an amazing woman.” I say that to her every day. I have no idea how she manages to stay composed. She’s really wonderful, yet a touch insane. “Good crazy” is what I mean when I say “crazy.”

Jennifer responds, “We just don’t take it too seriously,” when asked how they manage to maintain their relationship “young and fun.”

In 1997, Flavin, 54, and Stallone, 76, got married. Scarlet, 20, Sistine, 24, and Sophia, 25, are their children.
