Lionel Messi’s wife, Antonella Roccuzzo, celebrated her husband’s victory this past weekend in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Argentina defeated France to win the Cup on Saturday at Lusail Stadium.
Roccuzzo hugged Messi during the event while their three sons were wearing Argentina’s purple World Cup jerseys. She wore a pair of light blue distressed jeans with the deep violet jersey, which featured a motif of flames and vertical stripes. Her ensemble was completed with another thematic gesture of support in the form of purple drop earrings.
The model’s attire was completed for the occasion with a slender gold bracelet.
Roccuzzo finished off her look with a pair of light-colored Louis Vuitton heels. Her limited-edition leather look showcased a low-top design in pastel pink and white colour blocking, embellished with tiny details of Louis Vuitton’s iconic “LV” monogram. The pair stayed sporty and casual for the occasion, but added a lovely burst of colour to finish her look.
The Fédération Internationale de Football Association’s senior men’s national teams compete in an international football competition known as the FIFA World Cup, or simply the World Cup. Argentina emerged victorious, collecting a $42 million USD reward. With 32 teams participating in 64 matches, the 2022 Cup was held in eight stadiums in Qatar: Al Bayt Stadium, Education City Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium, Al Thumama Stadium, Lusail Stadium, Stadium 974, Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium, Education City Stadium, and Al Janoub Stadium. The opening ceremony this year featured performances by Fahad Al-Kubaisi and BTS’s Jung Kook. Due to investments reaching $300 billion, this World Cup is reportedly the most costly ever.
